New Marvel Zombies Animated Series: Intense and Mature Content Expected for Disney+

Get ready for a thrilling new animated series from Marvel Entertainment! The highly-anticipated Marvel Zombies series has been confirmed to have a TV-MA rating, indicating that the show will feature intense and mature content for viewers. Brad Winderbaum, the Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation at Marvel Studios, described the show as ‘pretty intense’ and ‘mature animation’ that aims to honor the comics.

While details about the series are still scarce, it has been revealed that the cast will include Randall Park and Andy Le. Bryan Adams, known for his work on ‘What If…?’, will serve as the executive producer and director of the series, which is being written by Zeb Wells. Alongside Adams, Wells will also executive produce the show with Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.

Drawing inspiration from the five-issue limited comic series, Marvel Zombies will introduce a unique twist by featuring zombified versions of popular characters like Ms. Marvel, Yelena, Shang-Chi, and more. Fans can expect a fresh and thrilling take on the Marvel universe as familiar heroes face the challenges of a zombie apocalypse.

In addition to Marvel Zombies, Marvel Entertainment has announced the upcoming release of Marvel Rivals, a team shooter game similar to Overwatch. Players will have the opportunity to control iconic Marvel characters such as Black Panther and Spider-Man in this exciting multiplayer title.
