Dodger Stadium tour guides voted to unionize amidst growing security concerns as Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers attract a surge of fans to the historic venue on Vin Scully Avenue. The National Labor Relations Board election resulted in 18 in favor of unionization and 12 against, paving the way for around 40 tour guides and leads to join IATSE B-192. The move comes as security screenings remain limited for tour groups, raising worries among guides, especially with the recent increase in stadium visitors. The Hollywood Reporter has contacted the Dodgers for feedback on the unionization. Led by IATSE Local B-192, the union aims to improve safety measures for the diverse range of tours offered, including Jackie Robinson and ‘Fernandomania’ tours in multiple languages.
