The actor, who is set to release his memoir, ‘You Never Know,’ explained that he has never been a fan of email or text messages. ‘Occasionally I’ve looked up my name,’ Selleck admitted, but he has never sent his own email. Instead, his wife Jillie Mack helps him stay connected by sending texts on his behalf.
Selleck and Mack have been married for 37 years, and the actor credits his wife with being his saving grace when it comes to technology. ‘I have a certain luxury where I probably couldn’t survive otherwise,’ he said. Despite his aversion to typing messages, Selleck is excited to share his story in his upcoming memoir.
In the interview, Selleck also reminisced about his wedding to Jillie in 1987. The couple almost missed their big day due to a forgotten marriage license, but luckily, they were able to rectify the situation in time. Selleck and Mack share a daughter, Hannah, and the actor has another son, Kevin, from a previous marriage.
