Ex-Husband of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Star Convicted in Mob Assault Plot

In a shocking turn of events, Thomas Manzo, the ex-husband of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Dina Cantin, has been convicted of orchestrating an assault on her then-boyfriend, now-husband, David Cantin. Manzo allegedly enlisted a reputed mobster to carry out the attack in July 2015, offering a lavish wedding reception in exchange for his services.

John Perna, described as a member of the Lucchese Crime Family, pleaded guilty to the crime in December 2020 and served a prison sentence before being released last August. Manzo, on the other hand, was found guilty of falsifying documents, conspiracy, and committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering.

Court records revealed that Manzo was motivated by jealousy towards his ex-wife’s new relationship and sought to physically harm her new partner. He now faces a sentence of up to 46 years in prison, with the sentencing scheduled for October 15.

Dina Cantin, who is currently married to David Cantin, has been with him since they started dating in 2014. This shocking revelation has sent ripples through the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ community, shedding light on the dark underbelly of reality television drama.
