Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez Divorce Finalized in the Philippines

Carla Abellana recently shared that her divorce from Tom Rodriguez, an American citizen, has been acknowledged by the Philippine court. This comes almost two years after their divorce was finalized in the United States. After their separation, Rodriguez flew to the US in March 2022 to confirm the divorce, which was officially recognized in June of the same year. Abellana filed a petition before a Philippine court in February 2023 to recognize the divorce decree, and it has now been granted. In a recent interview, Abellana stated that they have not spoken since the divorce, and she has no intention of rekindling their relationship. Despite the challenges she faced during the divorce process, Abellana emphasized that she is currently in a happy state and has found strength and wisdom through the experience. She expressed that while she has forgiven Rodriguez, she has not forgotten the past. When asked about the possibility of entering into a new relationship, Abellana mentioned that it is not her focus at the moment.
