As we prepare for the upcoming Clinics of the Berklee College of Music, we take a moment to remember the late Larry Monroe. For 42 years, Larry was a guiding light at the prestigious Boston college, sharing his passion for music and teaching with thousands of students. His talents as a composer, performer, and educator made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from him. Larry’s dedication and commitment were instrumental in the success of the Clinics, which have become a source of pride for Umbria Jazz. Today, we say farewell to a true legend of music education. Larry, your legacy lives on.
