Experience the Total Eclipse of the Art Event at Dayton Art Institute

Prepare for a unique and exciting experience at the Dayton Art Institute on April 7, leading up to the Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024. From noon to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy the ‘Total Eclipse of the Art’ event, filled with various activities and attractions. Receive a free eclipse button and a pair of eclipse glasses upon arrival, while supplies last. Wander through the museum and explore exhibitions like ‘The Artistic Life of Aka Pereyma’ and ‘Telling Stories: World Literature in Art’ before they depart next month.

Don’t miss the special Skinner Pipe Organ performance by Matt Dierking from 2-3 p.m. Listen to classic tunes as you prepare for the upcoming solar eclipse, including favorites like ‘Please Don’t Take my Sunshine Away’ and ‘Here Comes the Sun.’ Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children, and $10 for seniors, with discounts available for active duty military and students with ID. Children under six and museum members enter for free.
